In this reporting cycle, graduate certificates accounted for the majority of programs
in Business and Health Professions, while all of the Mechanic Technologies
certificates were in 2-year programs. The Computer and Information Science
certificates were split evenly between 2- and 4-yr programs, while the Education and
Engineering certificates represented only 4-yr programs, and Engineering
Technologies represented only 2-yr programs.

Post-Implementation Reporting

In 2023-2024, ACHE continued a 2022 clean-up project to review academic programs
that had not fulfilled the requirements to end their post-implementation monitoring.
As a result, the Commission has processed more post-implementation reports than
normal over the past two years. Between December 2023 and June 2024, a total of
70 programs submitted post-implementation reports or deletion requests (both on-
time and overdue). Of these, the majority (58) met all post-implementation
conditions. The Commission has also seen an increase in voluntary program closures,
with 11 programs being deleted or inactivated this year due to non-viability.
