Historic State Support for Public Education
The 2025 Education Trust Fund bill was signed into law in May 2024 by Governor Ivey
and was the largest budget ever appropriated to fund education in the state, totaling
$9.35 billion. The legislature also passed two bills of supplemental funding for FY24.
